Jejune

Jejune, the mid-90s', Berkley College emo rockers from Boston, MA. The band is mostly recognized for their male/female vocals, and soft (yet effective) styling. They're also commonly referred to as "indie emo", and while I believe 'indie' isn't a genre.. I'll settle for that labeling.
In my opinion; they're one of the best emo-bands of the past, and future. They have captivating melodies, and great lyrics. Sadly, like most emo bands, they were only around for a short amount of time. Since nobody really knows of their formation year ('95 maybe) we can guess they had a good 5 year run; seeing as they split up in 2000.

The members were Arabella Harrison (bass/vocals), Joe Guevara (guitar/vocals), and Chris Vanacore (drums).

Where Are They Now?

Arabella Harrison continues to make music to this day, and can be found here on MySpace. Her music has moved considerably far away from the emo-scene, but that's okay.. her folk rock isn't bad at all!

Joe Guevara.. hm, not much is known about him. Pretty positive he still makes music, because I've never heard of a musician who just flat-out stops. Maybe this was one of his bands? If anyone has any info, let me know, and I'll update!

Chris Vanacore.. same with this motherfucker! If he's a part of the folksy-artsy band Dirty Sweet; then that's all I got. The guys name is Chris somethingspanish-Vanacore, so.. it could be him, could not be. Let me know!

  1. Arabella Harrison was in the band "the And/Ors" after Jejune.
The other guys played in "Lovelight Shine" for a bit, before "Dirty Sweet"
