125, Rue Montmarte

125, Rue Montmartre was another "indie-emo" rock band from Bielefeld, Germany. Their lifespan was incredibly short, a shitty two year period ('98-2000), buuut.. the music was amazing. The five-member band never released any LP's, but they had a split, their own 7", and a couple songs on a compilation album.
Their music was very soft.. kinda like if Elliott Smith made emo music (and had a vagina) mixed with a little bit of Pohgoh. Definitely worth a listen, trust me. Oh, something of importance: The quality on the recordings? Yeahh.. not that great. OHWELLNGRS.

The bands featured players were Kerstin Lienen (vocals), Thomas Herlth (bass), David Lichtenberger (drums), Phillip Heidemann (guitars), and Lars Hillebrand (gutiars).

Where Are They Now?

Everyone except vocalist Kerstin, branched off & created a new band, Rockoutfit.

Kerstin Lienen disappeared from the music scene, AND WAS NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN! ...Okay, maybe not, but at least for me. I have no idea what she's up to these days, and if anyone knows -- tell me!

Phillip is also in another band by the name of The Now-Denial -- a notsogreat punk band.. yeah. And apparently Lars is a DJ under the "Giorgio Mackaye".
