The Tiger Lillies have been around since 1989. They're based in England, and are known for their decadent live shows, and festive music. They fuse dark cabaret, folk, and circus punk. I've known about these guys for about 5 years now, but I've recently acquired a decent collection of their music. They have 25 major releases, so.. it's quite an extensive library. Anyways, their dark themes, funny lyrics, and awkward stage persona's make The Tiger Lillies an amazing force in music. Even if you don't like these men it's really easy to respect what they do.
The bands lineup has been the same since its formation, and each band members plays a wide arrange of various instruments. Martyn Jacques tackles lead vocals, accordion, piano, ukulele, banjolele; Adrian Huge on the drums, percussions, and backup vocals; and Adrian Stout for the double bass, musical saw, and backing vocals.
